Niki Purcell grew up in Greeley, Colorado. Niki was born into a musical family - Her father has sung in local bands for years, and her sisters are singers as well. As well as a talented singer, Niki has flourished as a songwriter, writing the majority of Midnight Shakedown’s original song lyrics.
Keith Jelick grew up in Monument, Colorado. His diverse musical background includes several rock and jazz groups, and he is the current guitarist for Son Survivor, a local metal band. Keith plays guitar and banjo for Midnight Shakedown, and also brings yet another songwriter’s mind to the table. Both Keith’s technical playing and well-timed phrasing are a big part of the Midnight Shakedown sound.
Gray Beauchamp lived in British Columbia before coming to Denver. He learned the harmonica and started playing at blues jams and local open music nights. His role has become part harp, part horn section, and is integral to Midnight Shakedown’s unique sound.
